Nominate Projects -  Submit Case Studies

We accept projects nominations and case studies submissions on a rolling basis throughout the year. Case studies will be published initially on WaterProjectsOnline and then will be put forward for potential inclusion in the next edition of the Water Projects technical journal.

  • Applicable topics: We cover all aspects of wastewater treatment & sewerage, water treatment & supply, renewable energy, flood alleviation, river work, environmental and nature-based solutions, as well as industrial water and wastewater treatment.
  • Going global: We are no longer restricted to UK projects and we now welcome case studies detailing global projects.
  • Project status: Projects can be featured at any stage during the design/construction process. So that projects are thoroughly covered, we encourage an initial design-focused case study, followed by construction/commissioning-focused case studies in subsequent years.

Jobs Board

We now have a Jobs Board dedicated to the water, wastewater and flood alleviation sectors.

With AMP8 fast approaching, the UK’s water companies and their framework project delivery partners are actively planning for the largest ever water and wastewater capital works programme (2025-2030); expected to be in the region of £95 billion … almost double the current AMP7 programme.

This massive capital works programme is leading to huge recruitment drive by the water companies and their framework design and build partners (Tier 1 and Tier 2) as well as the wider supply chain.

  • Employers: Please contact us now if you have job openings that you wish to post on WaterProjectsOnline.
  • Employees: If you are looking for new opportunities, check out our Jobs Board.

About Water Projects

In 1993, midway through AMP1, the first annual edition of UK Water Projects was published. More than thirty years on, we still publish the Water Projects technical journal on an annual basis as well as WaterProjectsOnline. These publishing platforms give water companies, their project delivery partners and the supply chain the opportunity to publish technical case studies, innovation & technology papers, and product/services descriptions and reviews, covering all aspects of wastewater treatment & sewerage, water treatment & supply, renewable energy, flood alleviation, river work, environmental and nature-based solutions, as well as industrial water and wastewater treatment.

The industry-recognised and highly-respected platforms encourage information sharing between the water companies, designers, contractors and the wider supply chain, with case studies and technical papers detailing problem solving and successes, dos and don’ts, performance results, carbon and cost-saving innovations and technologies, and much more.
