Jersey Water
The island of Jersey is approximately 120 square kilometres. Jersey Water treats and supplies the population of around 95,000.
Raw water from 6 storage reservoirs is treated at one of two water treatment works located at Handois and Augres. Once treated, water is transferred to five treated water storage reservoirs located in St Helier, Trinity and St Lawrence. In addition, the company operates a RO desalination plant at La Rosière, which plays a vital role in providing an alternative water source for the Island, and when necessary augmenting natural water resources which are predominantly surface derived.
