Hafren Dyfrdwy

In July 2018, Severn Trent Water formed Hafren Dyfrdwy (meaning Severn Dee; named after the two major rivers in the area) to bring together all the Welsh customers previously served by Severn Trent and by Dee Valley Water.

For the first time, the 35,100 homes and 3,900 businesses in Powys and Monmouthshire who were previously Severn Trent customers joined Dee Valley customers based in Wales to be served by HD. The 49,700 homes who were previously Dee Valley Water customers in England are now served by Severn Trent.
