Portsmouth Water

Portsmouth Water supplies clean drinking water to a population of 656,000 throughout an area which covers 868 square kilometres, stretching through Hampshire and West Sussex from the River Meon in the west to the River Arun in the east.

The company has 21 water sources comprising 1 group of springs, 1 river and 19 borehole sites, which supply 18 water treatment works. The company supplies over 300,000 properties from 18 service reservoirs via 3,266km of mains.
