Water Management Alliance

Water Management Alliance is a group of 7 coastal Internal Drainage Boards (IDBs) comprising Broads IDB, East Suffolk WMB, King's Lynn IDB, Norfolk Rivers IDB, Pevensey & Cuckmere WLMB, South Holland IDB, and Waveney, Lower Yare & Lothingland IDB.

The members of the WMA are autonomous and democratically accountable statutory bodies and operate in south Lincolnshire, East Anglia, and in the south-east of England. With over 500 years of combined experience, the mission of the WMA is to safeguard their regions from flooding, by overseeing more than 2,200 kilometers of rivers and drainage channels, along with 74 pumping stations.
