The role
As the Site Manager, you will be report to the Contracts Manager to follow the business plan from preparation, implementation to execution. You will be tasked with managing day to day operations for the single contracting project prioritising a high level of safety management standards.
In short you will

Coordinate the direct line management ensuring all contractors, foreman, engineers, managers have a clear understanding of their role in the project execution.

Plan short-medium term operational presentations which demonstrate the status and position of the contract and project programme.

Regularly report the performance of the programme and routinely report to the contracts manager.

Manage the flow of people expected to be on site and tracking who is expected to be coming to ensure that health and safety measures are being adhered to

Analyse and implement processes in terms of auditing, action reporting and similar all in accordance with timelines.
About you
As Site Manager with some experience behind you, you have a good track record of delivering highways and construction projects. You are a natural leader and can take the lead in mentoring and directing a team.
You will ideally have:

Bachelors Degree, MSc or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering

Strong experience in highways and construction projects

Previous budget and contract management experience

Comprehensive knowledge of highway maintenance treatments and processes

Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all enquiries are answered

Priortise health and safety regulations and writing and disseminating method statements which are clear, comprehensible, and unambiguous.
