SES Water
SES Water has a supply area of 835 sq km in East Surrey, and parts of West Sussex, west Kent and south London.
Treated water is supplied to approximately 655,000 consumers in 280,000 properties. Raw water is extracted from underground resources (85%) and from natural springs and river sources (15%). On average the company supplies 160 million litres of treated water per day, and this can rise to 260 million litres at times of high demand. The company operates 8 water treatment works, 38 pumping stations and 35 operational service reservoirs and water towers, and maintains 3,445 km of water mains.
