South East Water
Each day South East Water supplies 565 million litres of treated water to 2.1 million customers (880,000 properties) across 5,657 square kilometres of Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
The company draws raw water from more than 250 boreholes, six rivers and six reservoirs, which is treated at one of 93 water treatment works. Once treated, water is distributed throughout the region via a network of more than 14,500 kilometres of mains.
