Duties for Senior Electrical Engineer

  • Ensure the development of cost-effective design solutions that align with the scope of work and project budgets.
  • Ensure the design output aligns with the agreed scope of work, adheres to budgets, and meets designated timescales.
  • Conduct regular design review meetings to monitor progress and address any challenges proactively.
  • Develop detailed and outline designs, as well as specifications for works.
  • Providing technical input on a daily basis to contribute to the team of engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure that the design output meets the agreed scope of work, as well as the budgets and timescales.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to meet project requirements and add value to the client.
  • Attend design review meetings to monitor progress.

Qualifications and experience

  • IOSH, SSSTS or NEBOSH general certificate would be an advantage
  • Microsoft Office literate
  • Experience working in the water industry or similar chemical process-driven environment
  • Appropriate hnc, degree or engineering qualification (electrical)
