Project Description/Main Operations

V J Donegan and Co Ltd was proud to be one of the first teams in the UK to install a FujiClean wastewater treatment system. This installation was part of an innovative project undertaken with United Utilities through the Costain MSP Framework, marking a European-first initiative to explore sustainable, low-carbon alternatives to traditional septic tanks.

The FujiClean wastewater treatment system is a step forward in environmental innovation, offering numerous advantages such as chemical-free treatment, a reduced environmental footprint and significantly lowering carbon emissions compared to traditional systems.

Scope of Works

  • Full design of the works.
  • Installing the FujiClean wastewater treatment tank.
  • Laying new pipework to the system.
  • Full commissioning and training provided to the client.
  • Safely disconnecting and decommissioning the existing system.

To ensure seamless execution, we partnered with Water Engineering Services Ltd for the Mechanical and Electrical works and the Haigh Group Ltd for system commissioning.

This project exemplifies the power of collaboration and forward-thinking in delivering sustainable infrastructure.

Working alongside United Utilities, we contributed to their mission of enhancing environmental performance and reducing carbon impacts.
