What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for delivering client projects in a highly collaborative and proactive manner, ensuring that work is completed within clearly defined budgets and timescale.
- Plan effectively from pre-construction to post-construction in line with all relevant policies, procedures, and best working practices.
- Ensure the role in the capacity of temporary works coordinator is fulfilled adequately and in line with training.
- Oversee Project and Site Coordinators, providing guidance where required.
- Produce site files, including but not limited to the project programme, RAMS, CPPs, and quality documentation.
- Act as principal contractor on behalf of the company and, if required, ensure the correct measures are in place to manage sub-contractors appropriately.
- Create and maintain effective communication and a good working relationship with the client through meeting attendance, site visits, portal updates and so on.
- Ensure an understanding of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and the allocated responsibilities under the Health and Safety At Work Act, including those under the CDM Regulations 2015.
Who we’re looking for
- Previous experience in the delivery of relevant projects.
- Ability to manage projects in a direct delivery model.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- A good communicator, able to liaise confidently and deal with a variety of people, including the client, suppliers, and wider team members, face-to-face, in writing, and on the telephone.
- Strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel, Project.
