You should be able to have an understanding and hands on experience with activity planning. Good communication skills, and the self-assurance to ask for help are necessary for this role. This would be a great opportunity for someone wishing to begin a career in the construction business as it would lead to prospects as a Senior Engineer or as a Site Manager.
As a Site Engineer you will:
- Consult with Design teams to solve problems – at MMB you’re not just identifying problems, you’re part of the solution
- Be an integral member of the site management team – alongside setting out, you’re involved in weekly progress reports, monthly planning, site logistics, and client liaison
- Oversee quality control and the implementation of the company’s health and safety policy on site
Candidate Specification
- HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering/Building
- CSCS
- SSSTS
- Previous use of Total station and GPS
