Groundforce is part of the Vp plc group of companies with over 60 years experience in the supply of specialist construction equipment to the civil engineering, general construction, house building, rail and utility market sectors.

The company offers a wide range of products to these markets including traditional trench shoring, specialist excavation temporary works, piling equipment, pipe testing products, temporary bridging, trenchless technology and EUSR accredited training.

The company has been a supplier of equipment to some of the leading construction projects in the UK. These include the Port of Immingham road improvement scheme, new Warner Stand at Lord’s Cricket Ground, Shieldhall Tunnel for Scottish Water and the Water Authorities 5 year asset management programme (AMP6).

Large scale projects have seen the newly formed Major Projects section create bespoke propping solutions for large contractors, highlighting the company’s strength and technical expertise.

The company also has a new, dedicated Design Hub website, which is part of the existing technical library at www.vpgroundforce.com/technical-library. The BIM Resource Centre is designed so that engineers can download CAD files for our products, view tutorials, and find various links to useful software and supporting documents.

The company offers its customers a purpose built training facility to help improve health and safety standards, and raise awareness on the dangers of excavation construction. Located in Worksop, it provides delegates with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of installing ground support systems in a live environment.
