BSG Civil Engineering Ltd

BSG Civil Engineering Ltd has developed from a civil engineering contractor to the present construction company with a turnover of approximately £45 million of which 90% is based in the design and build sector.

BSG’s principal client is NI Water, however the company has shown its ability to adapt to differing client needs by successfully undertaking multi million pound contracts for clients such as the Belfast Harbour Commission, Donegal County Council and DARD among others.

Originally formed in 1987 Seamus Gillan Civil Engineering diversified into sheet pile driving, in 1993, to facilitate and enhance the company delivering Civil Engineering projects for the Water Service and Rivers Agency. This diversification led to the formation of BSG Piling Ltd.

In 2004 it was decided that Seamus Gillan Civil Engineering due to the value of the turnover should become limited and hence Seamus Gillan Civil Engineering and BSG Piling Ltd amalgamated to form BSG Civil Engineering Limited.
