Responsibilities
As a Contracts Manager, you will work with our regional civils team on both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, such as flood alleviation schemes, pumping stations, treatment facilities, and storm overflow mitigation plans. Schemes vary in size and complexity but usually involve a significant amount of traditional civil work along with some mechanical and electrical work. The scale of the schemes ranges from £250k to over £10m.
Your day to day will include
- Manage and monitor on-site operations and physical progress of work in order to ensure site safety, quality, and environmental obligations.
- Attend site meetings with the client.
- Assist in the creation of annual budgets and the management of expenditures within agreed-upon budgets.
- Finally, ensure that all legislative compliance obligations for appropriate plant and equipment are always met.
