Project Description / Main Operations

Diversion and stabilisation of the bank of the River Bollin in order to avoid collapse of the existing pipebridge.

Scope and method:

Excavation for and laying of stone-filled gabion baskets and coir matting to the river bed and bank.
Replacement of part of the pipebridge at the river crossing.
