Project Description / Main Operations

The aim of the works was to repair part of the damaged existing foul sewer, which was discharging into the River Ribble after the bank had collapsed.

Scope and method:

  • Stabilisation of the bank on one side of the River Ribble with over 400m of pre-driven permanent steel sheet piling.
  • Reconstruction of over 400m of the sewer system.
  • Construction of a new cycle track and pedestrian walkway.
