AUMA Actuators Limited

AUMA Actuators celebrates best ever trading year through major UK water industry success

AUMA Actuators Limited is celebrating another record trading year, having secured framework agreements with all of the UK’s major water companies. This milestone solidifies AUMA’s position as a leading provider of electric valve actuators to the UK’s water and wastewater industry.

AUMA Actuators record trading year

AUMA Actuator Limited’s success aligns with a landmark year for AUMA’s parent company, AUMA Riester GmbH & Co KG, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary. As the world’s largest manufacturer of electric valve actuators, AUMA Riester has surpassed £500 million in turnover for the first time. The global company, which employs 2,800 people across 30 locations, continues to drive innovation and excellence in valve automation solutions across multiple industries.

Colin Borrows, Head of Sales UK, said:

“This has been another record-breaking year for AUMA Actuators Limited, and we are incredibly proud of our achievements. Securing framework agreements with all major UK water companies is a testament to our team’s hard work, technical excellence, and dedication to customer service. With the support of our parent company, AUMA Riester, we are well-positioned for continued success.”

AUMA Actuators Linited has undergone a strategic internal restructuring to support its rapid growth and the demands of its newly secured framework agreements. Several key positions have been made to strengthen its leadership and operational capabilities:

  • Matthew Ellwood is now Senior Inside Sales Engineer, enhancing customer support and technical sales expertise.
  • Tom Curtis now has a focused role as Marine Sales Engineer, reinforcing AUMA’s commitment to the marine sector.
  • Colin Borrows has been promoted to Head of Sales UK, leading the company’s commercial strategy and driving further growth.
  • Adam Jones has been promoted to the role of Operations Manager, overseeing and optimising business operations.

Colin Borrows continued:

“The restructuring of our internal resources aligns with our ongoing growth, ensuring streamlined internal processes and strengthened team support that will further enhance our reputation for excellent customer service.”

As AUMA Riester celebrates its 60th anniversary and record-breaking turnover, AUMA Actuators Limited looks forward to building on its momentum and further strengthening its market presence in 2025 and beyond.
