Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd has recently provided a sheet pile supply and cofferdam installation package that is part of a £300m investment in the Severn Trent-owned Wanlip Sewage Treatment Works (STW) in Leicestershire.

Working on behalf of Ward & Burke Construction for United Utilities, Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd were contracted to install 212 (106 [No.] per cofferdam), 9.0m long GU16 steel sheet piles for two circular Detention Tank cofferdams to ultimately help improve river water quality. The site was located on land adjacent to Southlands High School in Chorley.

Nestling in Macclesfield Forest, on the edge of the Peak District, surrounded by a conifer plantation lies Ridgegate Reservoir. The woodland surrounding the reservoir is designated as a Site of Biological Importance, whilst another adjacent area is a Nature Reserve managed by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust.
